1. Aetna, Baptist Memorial Health Care Make Collaborative Care Agreement
Baptist Memorial Health Care in Memphis, Tenn., and Aetna partnered in a collaborative care agreement to offer Aetna Whole Health, a commercial healthcare product.
2. Aetna, Carolinas HealthCare Announce Accountable Care Collaboration
Aetna and Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System announced they are using a clinically integrated organization model to support patient-centered medical homes and other accountable care efforts.
3. Aetna, ProHealth Physicians Collaborate for Accountable Care
Aetna and Farmington, Conn.-based ProHealth Physicians, a healthcare delivery system with more than 300 primary care providers, announced an accountable care collaboration.
4. MaineHealth, Anthem BCBS Form ACO
Portland-based MaineHealth and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield launched Maine's first comprehensive commercial accountable care organization.
5. OSF Healthcare, BCBS of Illinois Form ACO
Peoria, Ill.-based OSF Healthcare System and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois are forming an accountable care organization.
6. Superior Health Partners, BCBS of Michigan Partner for Accountable Care
Superior Health Partners, an alliance of eight independent health systems in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, announced an accountable care organization-like partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
7. Cornerstone Health Care, BCBS of North Carolina Form ACO
Cornerstone Health Care, a Highpoint, N.C.-based physician group with more than 365 physicians, partnered with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to form an accountable care organization.
8. Cigna Adds 7 Members to Collaborative Accountable Care Program
Cigna added seven new members to its collaborative accountable care program April 1, bringing the total number of members to 58.
9. HMA, Florida Blue Strike Accountable Care Deal
Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates and Florida Blue announced an accountable care delivery model for patients in Brevard County, Fla.
10. Regence BCBS, Adventist Health-Portland Announce Collaborative Care Initiative
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Adventist Health-Portland, a part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, announced a new collaborative care initiative.

UnitedHealthcare and Coastal Medical, a Providence, R.I.-based primary care group and medical management company with more than 100 providers, plan to launch an accountable care organization.
