Piedmont Columbus (Ga.) Regional is gearing up for a $50 million renovation and expansion at its Midtown campus that will include 43 new ICU beds and a renovated nursing unit. The project is slated to be completed in March 2026. 

Portland, Ore.-based Legacy Health has completed the first phase of a $37 million expansion and improvement project for its Legacy Silverton (Ore.) Medical Center, which will bring an additional 21,000 square feet to the existing hospital.

Columbia, Mo.-based MU Health is holding an open house for its new $232 million Children's Hospital on May 23.

Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health has completed its $762 million Honickman Center in Philadelphia, part of a more than $1 billion urban development project in the city's East Market.

The Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation has invested more than $23 million to the University of Nebraska Omaha's Walter Scott, Jr. Scholarship Program, known as Scott Scholars, to sustain and grow the program at the Omaha-based University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has filed an application with the city of Sacramento, Calif., to build a Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Railyards Medical Center Medical Facility. 

Mobile, Ala.-based USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital opened a $19 million pediatric emergency center for patients and their families on March 11. 

Loxahatchee, Fla.-based HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, has been given funding approval by the health system to develop an $80 million patient tower on its campus. 

Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Health Valley Network held a ribbon cutting on March 8 to celebrate its first neighborhood hospital, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Macungie (Pa.).
