Saint Agnes Medical Center in California to Lay Off 75 Employees

Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, Calif., has announced plans to lay off 75 employees, according to a Business Journal report.

The hospital said the layoffs are "necessary actions" in light of declining patient volumes, reimbursement changes and a slow economic recovery, according to the report.

The report did not specify what positions would be affected by the cuts.
