North Memorial Medical Center in Minnesota Downsizes

North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Minn., is implementing a staff reduction affecting an unspecified number of employees, according to a Star Tribune report.

The hospital already eliminated an unknown number of leadership positions in December as part of a restructuring strategy, according to the report.

North Memorial employs roughly 5,000 people. A hospital spokesperson said most of the staff reductions will not involve direct patient care, according to the report.
