The National Labor Relations Board has delayed the implementation of a final rule that would require all employers subject to the National Labor Relations Act, which includes most hospitals, to post a notice to employees informing them of their rights under the Act, according to an AHA News Now report.
The NLRB delayed enforcement of the rule, which was previously planned for Jan. 31, to April 30. The NLRB delayed the implementation date at the request of a federal court in Washington, D.C., which is hearing a case that challenges the rule.
Failure to post the rule could be considered an unfair labor practice.
