Mississippi Health Partners, a managed care network based in Jackson, Miss., is planning to create a health information exchange that would serve its employers, covered members and provider members, according to a Health Data Management news report.
Utilizing technology from RelayHealth, the HIE will include online secure messaging and scheduling capabilities, requests for medication refills and personal health records for patients.
