Washington, D.C.-based eHealth Initiative released the second phase of its third health information exchange toolkit, which addresses adopting, operating and sustaining a HIE, according to an eHI news release.
Phase I of the toolkit went out in April and covered the governance, legal and patient privacy aspects of HIEs. In addition to promoting a sustainable HIE model, this second phase will offer tips on how HIEs can meet the demands of the future health IT landscape. No information has been released yet on the third phase of the toolkit.
