Telehealth company Teladoc is providing free virtual care services to individuals and first responders in Florida impacted by Hurricane Ian.
Teladoc can treat displaced individuals with sinus problems, respiratory infections, allergies and colds. Teladoc provides free virtual care to displaced people in every federal natural disaster, according to the Sept. 26 Teladoc news release.
"We encourage those impacted by Hurricane Ian to continue to prioritize their health and safety," Teladoc Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangella said. "Virtual care is a proven solution that supports community health during these times, and we are grateful to provide access to care and to be a reliable source for those in Florida facing devastation and displacement as a result of the storm."
