Teladoc Health's CEO Jason Gorevic is leaving his role as head of the company effective immediately.
Teladoc's board of directors has appointed Mala Murthy, the company's chief financial officer, as Mr. Gorevic's temporary replacement, according to an April 5 news release from Teladoc.
The company's board has initiated an executive search to find a permanete CEO.
Mr. Gorevic has been CEO of the company since 2009, according to his LinkedIn page. Teladoc did not mention the reason for the sudden departure.
