Health technology company Masimo has released its Masimo W1 health watch used to track vital health measurements.
The W1 health watch takes 86,400 vital health measurements per day. Along with the W1 watch, Masimo released its Personal SafetyNet paid subscription service that allows users to track their health progress, according to an Aug. 31 Masimo news release. The wearable tracks oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiration rate and other vitals. Another limited market release version tracks hydration as well.
"With over 30 years of experience in medical monitoring and telemedicine, we are excited to bring the first wearable device to offer accurate and continuous pulse oximetry, hydration index, and other health measurements to consumers," said Joe Kiani, founder and CEO of Masimo. " Based on the feedback we have received from those who have tested Masimo W1 during the limited market release phase, we believe this watch will improve lives."
