Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health has partnered with Andor Health to deploy its AI-powered virtual care platform, ThinkAndor, with the goal of expanding access to healthcare for rural populations.
This initiative specifically targets communities in the Appalachian Highlands, including Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Northwest North Carolina and Southeast Kentucky, according to a Sept. 17 news release.
Integrated with Ballad's Epic EHR system, the ThinkAndor platform consolidates the health system's virtual care services. This, according to the release, will enable Ballad to scale its virtual care offerings more effectively across its rural service areas.
