The Emergency Care Research Institute recently named 12 health systems as recipients of its supply chain award.
Here are the 12 leaders at the winning systems:
Lee Baldwin, vice president of supply chain management at Portland, Maine-based MaineHealth, has been in the role since April 2020. He has also worked at St. Cloud, Minn.-based CentraCare Health System; Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health; and Sioux Falls-based Sanford Health.
Rosa Costanzo, vice president of supply chain and strategic sourcing at Miami-based Jackson Health System, has worked in the supply chain industry for more than 25 years and has been in her current role for 12 years.
Justin Freed, vice president at Adventist Health System, previously served as vice president of resource engineering and hospitality group for Renton, Wash.-based Providence's California region prior to joining Adventist in 2019. Adventist's west division in Roseville, Calif., won the ECRI award. Mr. Freed has also served as assistant vice president of supply chain for Providence and as executive supply chain director at Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center.
Jorge Hernandez has been vice president of supply chain and chief procurement officer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health for nearly six years. Before joining Broward Health, Mr. Hernandez was the assistant vice president of Dallas-based Tenet's supply chain in its southern division.
Jennifer Krnavek, senior director of strategic sourcing and value analysis of supply chain purchasing, has worked at Dallas-based Children's Health for 17 years. Ms. Krnavek has occupied multiple supply chain roles at Children's Health, including value analysis specialist, purchasing manager and strategic sourcing director.
Phyllis McCready, vice president and chief procurement officer of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, has been at the system for nearly 30 years. She also serves as president and CEO of the North Shore-LIJ Alliance, which is Northwell's group purchasing organization.
Michael McCullough has been the senior vice president of supply chain at Wellstar Health System in Marietta, Ga., since December 2018. Mr. McCullough has previously served as the vice president of supply chain at Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health and held multiple supply chain positions at St. Louis-based Ascension.
Jason Moulding has been the chief supply chain officer of MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Wash., since October 2021 after working as the system vice president of supply chain management for five years. He has also served in supply roles at Renton, Wash.-based Providence and Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Wash.
Keith Murphy began serving as University of Miami Health System's chief supply chain officer in 2018 after working at Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health for 14 years. At Yale New Haven Health, he was the system director of strategic sourcing and clinical value analysis for 10 years and executive director of corporate supply chain for four years.
Kevin Phelps is the executive director of supply chain management at Northeast Georgia Health System. Before joining the Gainesville, Ga.-based system in 2017, he served in multiple supply chain roles at Piedmont Athens Regional, a system based in Athens, Ga.
Bob Taylor has served as RWJBarnabas Health's senior vice president of supply chain for six years. Before joining the West Orange, N.J.-based system, he held hospital supply chain roles at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare and Birmingham, Ala.-based UAB Medicine.
Tom Taylor is supply chain director of Honolulu-based Hawai'i Pacific Health. His career history is not publically available.
