New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health appointed David Chung, MD, PhD, the inaugural system chief of multiple myeloma and director of clinical research at Northwell Health Cancer Institute.
Dr. Chung will oversee the growth and development of Northwell's clinical and translational cancer research and lead the Cancer Clinical Trials Office, according to a Dec. 20 system news release shared with Becker's.
Previously, he served as director of adult stem-cell transplantation and cancer immunotherapy fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
