St. John's Lutheran Hospital in Libby, Mont., has submitted its application for a federal loan to build a new 77,000-square-foot hospital, according to a Western News report.
The current facility will continue to be used for business operations, home healthcare and hospice services and rehab. The new facility will not increase the hospital's current number of 25 beds, but will increase the size of each patient's room. In addition, the new facility will have two more emergency room beds and bigger operating rooms.
