Mercy Health System of Oklahoma, based in Oklahoma City, has laid the foundation of an $88 million medical complex and wellness center in Edmond, according to an Oklahoman report.
The complex will eventually serve as the home of a multi-specialty clinic, including diagnostics and ambulatory surgery, an outpatient surgery center, rehabilitation facilities, a walk-in clinic, pharmacy and a 50,000-square-foot wellness center.
Mercy officials hope to open the unnamed medical complex to the public June 2013.
