VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville, Calif., will soon double the size of its hospital in a $118 million renovation project, according to a North Bay Business Journal report.
The project will include 24 additional beds and two stories, which will add roughly 68,000 square feet to the hospital, according to the report. The hospital will also expand its emergency department and add a new MRI machine.
NorthBay Healthcare, which operates VacaValley Hospital, expects to break ground on the expansion by early 2012, with construction to be completed by early 2014.
