MaineGeneral Health, based in Augusta, will break ground on a new $322 million hospital, according to a Bangor Daily News report.
The new hospital will replace three older MaineGeneral hospitals: both MaineGeneral Medical Center campuses in Seton and Thayer as well as Augusta General Hospital. The facility is expected to open in 2014 and will house 10 operating rooms, the latest technology and all private rooms, according to the report.
