Intel leads $23M round for medtech company

Intel Capital, the venture arm of software giant Intel, co-led a $23 million financing round for medtech and X-ray company Oxos Medical.

The funding round brings the company's total raised to $45 million. Oxos will use the capital to finance product innovation and expand globally, according to an April 5 Oxos news release.

Parkway Venture Capital co-led the funding round.

"By combining OXOS' advanced technology stack with Intel's worldwide manufacturing and engineering expertise, OXOS can accelerate innovation in X-ray imaging and radiographic diagnostics," Arun Chetty, managing director at Intel Capital, said in the release.
