Digital health company raises $12M

Mindset Health, a digital hypnotherapy company for patients with chronic conditions, raised $12 million in series A funding.

The company currently has three hypnotherapy apps designed for irritable bowel syndrome, menopause and smoking cessation. Mindset will use the new funding to grow these apps and explore the creation of new apps treating anxiety, depression, sleep and chronic pain, according to a March 21 Mindset news release.

Venture capital firm King River Capital led the funding round.

"This latest financing will support us to continue to meet that demand and in new areas with a broader product offering, as well as funding additional research programs instrumental to producing high-quality digital programs backed by clinical rigor," Mindset co-CEO and co-founder Alex Naoumidis said in the release.
