Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn., has agreed to partner with Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.-based Hutcheson Medical Center, according to a Chattanooga Times Free Press report.
Erlanger's approval follows the decision by the Hutcheson Medical Center and Hutcheson Health Enterprises boards to cede power to the Hospital Authority of Walker, Dade and Catoosa Counties in Georgia, a contingency of the Hospital Authority's vote to partner with Erlanger.
Through the partnership, Erlanger will provide Hutcheson with physicians, executive leadership, strategic planning and $20 million line of credit.
