Reported bidders include Jersey City (N.J.) Medical Center, partnering with Bloomfield, N.J.-based Community Healthcare Associates; Pennsylvania-based Hudson Holdco., owners of Hoboken (N.J.) University Medical Center and Bayonne (N.J.) Medical Center; and the owners of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus, N.J.
Christ Hospital filed for bankruptcy protection last month after a proposed acquisition by California-based, for-profit Prime Healthcare Services fell through.
After Monday's auction, a bankruptcy judge will hear the results to either accept or deny the winning bid.
