The U.S. Bankruptcy Court has "settled or resolved" motions related to the bankruptcy of Cheboygan (Mich.) Memorial Hospital- clearing the way for McLaren Health Care in Flint, Mich., to complete its purchase of CMH, according to a Cheboygan Daily Tribune report.
According to the report, two sources confirmed that CMH sent legal documentation for the sale to McLaren Health Monday afternoon. The reported price of the sale is $5 million. If the CMH sale is completed today, CMH's emergency room and other outpatient services should re-open within two weeks.
May 3 will mark the one-month anniversary of CMH's closure after McLaren's purchase was halted over issues with CMS licensing and regulations.
