McLaren Health Care and CMS have come to a resolution over the operation of Cheboygan Memorial Hospital, according to a Petoskey News report.
McLaren Health may open and operate Cheboygan Memorial Hospital's emergency room and outpatient services under the condition to continue working with creditors and other interested parties, according to the report.
McLaren Health had worked out a deal to purchase Cheboygan Memorial but the deal fell through on April 2 when McLaren could not resolve licensing issues with CMS. All parties are due in bankruptcy court April 30 for a status hearing on the sale.
