Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center will provide pediatric hospitalists to Lancaster (Pa.) General Hospital, according to an Intelligencer Journal report.
The deal is expected to be a step toward a larger partnership between the two Pennsylvania healthcare organizations, officials said.
The contract to provide pediatricians officially begins in July, and the hospitals are discussing ways to better collaborate on pediatric services, according to the report.
