Caldwell Memorial officials have been approached by healthcare systems in the past and would like to be selective in the partnership consideration process, according to the report. The names of healthcare systems up for consideration were not released.
The hospital currently has partnerships with Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, N.C., for cancer care and Mission Health in Asheville, N.C., for cardiovascular care.
