Glendive (Mont.) Medical Center and Billings (Mont.) Clinic have officially signed an affiliation agreement, according to a Billings Gazette report.
Under the partnership deal, Billings Clinic will aid Glendive with physician recruitment, expanding access and clinical services and other healthcare reform measures, according to the report. In addition, Billings Clinic will help the 25-bed critical access hospital find a new CEO, who will be a Billings Clinic employee.
Glendive is now the ninth hospital or healthcare organization to affiliate with Billings Clinic, all of which are in Montana and Wyoming. Glendive began pursuing a partnership with Billings Clinic last summer. The hospital reiterated that its deal with Billings Clinic will not result in job loss, nor the sale or transfer of ownership.
