Heart and Vascular Institute of Florida South in St. Petersburg, Fla., will merge with Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., effective Sunday, according to a St. Petersburg Times report.
The deal will expand Northside's Tampa Bay Heart Institute. Heart and Vascular Institute's 16 physicians and 100 employees become part of Tampa Bay Heart.
