Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare has acquired cardiology groups Northern Kentucky Heart and Cardiology Associates, according to a Business Courier report.
The deal will bring a combined 13 physicians into the St. Elizabeth system to establish the St. Elizabeth Physicians Heart and Vascular division, according to the report.
The division also includes cardiologists from Comprehensive Cardiology Consultants, which St. Elizabeth acquired in May. Physicians in the division will treat patients at eight different locations.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
