Tenet Healthcare and the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United have agreed on a new four-year contract for six of the hospital operator's hospitals, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.
The deal will give the nurses at 10.5 percent raise over the four years and a 3 percent retroactive pay increase for 2011, for a total 13.5 percent raise, according to the report.
Hospitals included in the deal are San Ramon (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, Los Alamitos (Calif.) Medical Center, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo and Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton.
