1. The board of directors of the Care New England Health System, based in Providence, R.I., has named Dennis D. Keefe president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.
2. Denny Litos, CEO of Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, Calif., will be retiring from his position, effective July 5.
3. Terry Burns has resigned as president and CEO of Ukiah (Calif.) Valley Medical Center to join his former employer, Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network, as president of Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, Ohio, and Soin Medical Center in Fairborn, Ohio.
4. Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Hospital's board of directors has selected Brian Bauer as the flagship hospital's new CEO, effective July 18.
5. Steven Massey has been appointed president and CEO of Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wis., effective Aug. 1.
