1. Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Hospital's board of directors has selected Brian Bauer as the hospital's new CEO, effective July 18.
2. Steven Massey has been appointed president and CEO of Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wis., effective Aug. 1.
3. Tom Thompson, CEO of Essentia Health based in Duluth, Minn., has resigned as president of Essentia St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
4. Michael Gustafson, MD, has been appointed to lead Boston's Faulkner Hospital as COO, effective July 18.
5. Walt Mickens has been named President and CEO of Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, Calif.
6. Annapolis, Md.-based Anne Arundel Health System's Board of Trustees has announced that Martin L. Doordan will retire from his position as CEO at the end of the month after nearly four decades with the organization.
7. James Kirby, II has been appointed the president and CEO of Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, N.C.
