Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., has renovated its birth center and created an orthopedic-neurological unit from an unused ward, according to an Omaha World-Herald report.
The $3.2 million renovation included 18 patient rooms, a gym and teaching kitchen for physical and occupational therapy in the new orthopedic-neurology unit, four pre-term rooms and 12 labor and delivery rooms in the birth center and new nursing stations in both the ortho-neuro and birth units.
