FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Ill., is expanding the medical oncology wing of its Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center, according to a Journal-Standard report.
Construction began in October and is slated to be completed by March. The center will include eight additional treatment stations and room for future expansion. The current expansion is the second phase of a long-term project that began with the installation of a new linear accelerator in 2010, according to the report.
