St. Peter's Health Partners CEO Steven Boyle to Retire

Steven P. Boyle, CEO of Albany, N.Y.-based St. Peter's Health Partners, will retire October 1 after 24 years of executive leadership within the system.

Mr. Boyle has served as the CEO of the system since October 2011, when St. Peter's Health Partners was formed through a merger of three smaller regional health systems: St. Peter's Health Care Services, Northeast Health and Seton Health. With more than 125 sites of care, St. Peter's Health Partners has become the region's largest and most comprehensive non-profit system.

Before his current position, Mr. Boyle served as president and CEO of St. Peter's Hospital from 1993 and president and CEO of St. Peter's Health Care Services since 1994. He joined St. Peter's Hospital in 1988 as COO.

James K. Reed, MD, will become president and CEO of St. Peter's Health Partners following Mr. Boyle's retirement. Dr. Reed currently serves as president of the system.
