UHS Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, N.Y., announced David Polge is retiring as president and CEO today after leading the 25-bed critical access hospital for 22 years.
Mr. Polge previously held an administrative position at a hospital in Connecticut, which was not named in the release, and at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill.
Dru Cavanagh, RN, vice president for patient care services at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, N.Y., will serve as interim CEO of UHS Delaware Valley Hospital.
