Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital has named L. Reuven Pasternak, MD, as CEO and vice president for Health Systems for Stony Brook Medicine, effective Sept. 1.
Dr. Pasternak comes to Stony Brook from Inova Health System in Falls Church, Va., where he has served for the past four years as CEO and executive vice president of academic affairs for Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church.
