Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., has named Michael A. Rembis CEO.
Mr. Rembis will leave his position as president and CEO of Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles to take over as CEO of the Burbank hospital in mid-September.
He will replace Barry Wolfman, who left Providence Saint Joseph in April to take over as CEO and managing director of the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
In the meantime, Kerry Carmody, the COO for Providence Health & Services, Southern California, has been serving Providence Saint Joseph's interim CEO.
