Abraham Lichtmacher, MD, has been named chief of women's services for Albuquerque, N.M.-based Lovelace Health System, effective mid-May.
Dr. Lichtmacher most recently served as chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Rochester (N.Y.) General Health System. However, he was previously with Lovelace Health System and ABQ Health Partners as chief of the medical staff for Lovelace Women's Hospital and chairman for women's health.
Dr. Lichtmacher earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla and is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He has practiced medicine for more than 30 years.
