Los Alamos (N.M.) Medical Center has appointed Feliciano Jiron its new CEO, according to a hospital news release.
Mr. Jiron succeeds Curt Smith, who has been serving as interim CEO of Los Alamos Medical Center since April. Mr. Jiron, who has nearly 15 years of hospital operations experience, most recently served as president and CEO of Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital in San Andreas, Calif., a role he has filled since 2007.
His executive leadership experience includes stints at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, Ariz., and Mimbres Memorial Medical Center in Deming, N.M.
