Joel North was promoted to CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, effective Sept. 30.
Mr. North succeeds Scott Davis, who was named CEO of HCA's Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo., according to a Sept. 23 news release.
Mr. North most recently served as COO of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. In that role, he managed more than $200 million in capital projects to drive service line growth and improve efficiencies, the release said.
HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is a 423-bed facility, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
