John Byrnes, MD, has been named chief quality officer and senior vice president of quality and safety at McLeod Health, a nonprofit system based in Florence, S.C., according to a Sept. 11 news release sent to local media outlets. 

Denver Health has named April Audain CFO, according to a post on her LinkedIn page. 

Robert Nelson, BSN, RN, was named CEO of Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, Texas. 

Jennifer Jones has been appointed CEO of Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital in Blue Ash, Ohio, effective Aug. 28.

James Keany, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Long Beach, Calif.-based St. Mary Medical Center. 

Kirk McCarty, MSN, RN, became CEO of Kansas City, Mo.-based Research Medical Center, an affiliate of HCA Midwest Health, on Sept. 3. The move comes three months after he took over as CEO of another HCA hospital.

William "Pat" Patton was named administrator of Saint Luke's Health System critical access hospitals in Kansas. 

After less than a year in the role, Christopher Bjornberg is no longer CEO of Brawley, Calif.-based Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District, the hospital board confirmed in a statement shared with Becker's on Sept. 9.

Jessica Thompson Melton will join UF Health Oct. 14 as chief transformation officer, the Gainesville, Fla.-based system said in a Sept. 9 news release. 

Jim Andrews has been named president and CEO of Brown Mills, N.J.-based Deborah Heart and Lung Center, effective Sept. 9.

UChicago Medicine's chief equity officer, Brenda Battle, BSN, RN, will retire at the end of the year, the academic health system said Sept. 9.

Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly has tapped Lucas Montarce as its new executive vice president and CFO, effective immediately. Mr. Montarce was also named a member of Eli Lilly's executive committee, according to a Sept. 9 news release.

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has named Christopher Fontes as Northern California executive director of revenue cycle, according to a Sept. 7 post on his LinkedIn page. 

David Brooks has been named chief administrative officer of Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Ind., effective Sept. 9.

Cameron Mantor, MD,  has been named chief physician executive of Oklahoma City-based OU Health and president of OU Health Partners.
