CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y., has joined the Healthcare Information Xchange of New York, a group of healthcare providers and health plans working to share medical information more effectively, according to a Press-Republican report.
With the addition of CVPH, all hospitals in the tri-county region are now part of HIXNY, according to Scott Momrow, the organization's vice president for marketing and adoption.
HIXNY is now working to include as many primary care physicians in the region as possible.
