Community Hospital of San Bernardino (Calif.) and St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino have received a $400,000 grant to develop telehealth capabilities, according to a Sun report.
The funds, provided by the Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health System and the California Telehealth Network, will go toward equipment and project management to allow clinic and emergency department consultations and video conferencing.
The project will initially focus on diabetes diagnosis and treatment and is expected to go live early next year.
