Overall, healthcare providers rated the electronic health record adoption process as being as challenging as they had expected, according to "4th Annual Healthcare IT Insights and Opportunities," a study conducted by CompTIA, a non-profit trade association.
For the study, researchers conducted an online survey of 375 physicians, dentists and other healthcare providers or administrators. Data collection occurred during November 2012.
