Telehealth and prescriptions company TruePill conducted its fourth round of layoffs this year, according to Sept. 29 reporting in TechCrunch.
Truepill’s reduction to its workforce is impacting approximately 20% of employees across the organization; resulting directly from the company’s decision to focus on its core pharmacy business and achieve significant cost reductions. This fourth round of layoffs comes after a previous round of layoffs impacted 8 percent of the company.
An unnamed employee told TechCrunch that a severance package was mentioned; however, TruePill HR has not reached out to the employee.
