Benjamin Maisano, the former chief digital and innovation officer of Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System and former chief technology officer of New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System, has joined digital health startup Tendo.
He will serve as senior vice president and head of strategy for the company, which launched in 2021 through a collaboration between Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and venture capital firm General Catalyst. The health tech platform aims to connect providers, patients and caregivers via a digital front door that combines quality, clinical and patient experience data.
"After working with amazing teams at Atlantic Health System and Mount Sinai Health System, it's exciting to take that knowledge and get back to my roots at a health technology company to make a broad impact across systems," Mr. Maisano wrote Dec. 19 on LinkedIn.
In January, Tendo hired Bala Hota, MD, the former vice president and chief analytics officer of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, as its senior vice president and chief informatics officer.
