Digital health: Who's up, who's down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with new startups coming on to the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

  1. Anumana, a heart-focused digital health company, partnered with Pfizer to develop an artificial intelligence electrocardiogram algorithm to detect cardiac amyloidosis.

  2. OSF OnCall, the digital health arm of Peoria, Ill.-based OSF Healthcare, launched a no-cost digital monitoring program for respiratory syncytial virus.

 

Companies that had a bad week:

  1. Komodo Health, a health data analytics company, laid off 9 percent of its staff.

  2. Headspace Health, a digital mental health and meditation app, cut about 50 jobs, Bloomberg reported Dec. 14.
