Digital health funding fell in the first half of 2022, according to a July 10 report from Rock Health, a seed fund that supports digital health startups.
The report said that $10.3 billion was raised in the first half of 2022, compared to $15 billion in last year's first half. Digital health funding is still on track for a stronger year than 2020, according to the report.
The report suggests that the drop in funding could be caused by startups looking to trim costs and reduce positions.
