Blue Shield of California Promise Health plan is offering its Medi-Cal members a new digital health support plan through a partnership with Solera Health called Wellvolution.
The Wellvolution program focuses on the four health pillars of chronic conditions reversal, disease prevention, mental health support and tobacco cessation. It offers patients apps and other digital tools as part of the treatment program, according to a Jan. 23 Blue Shield news release.
"Blue Shield Promise members who enroll in Wellvolution now have online access to a range of digital-care lifestyle medicine and mental health programs that are evidence-based and can make measurable improvements in their overall health and wellbeing, especially for those with chronic conditions," Angie Kalousek-Ebrahimi, senior director of lifestyle medicine at Blue Shield of California, said.
