73% of healthcare leaders feel burned out, survey finds

Burnout continues to be an issue that plagues healthcare leaders, according to the Medical Group Management Association's most recent MGMA Stat poll.

The poll, conducted June 26, included nearly 1,750 healthcare leaders. Less than half of respondents (45 percent) said they feel burned out, while 28 percent said they feel "somewhat" burned out. Twenty-seven percent said they were not burned out.

In light of these findings, the association has provided this article addressing the causes of burnout and potential solutions.
